Solar Plexus (Manipura) Chakra Activation:
Manipura chakra, also called Solar Plexus chakra, is the seat of your self-esteem and sense of unique identity.
It is a source of personal power and governs warrior energy and the power of transformation. The energy of the navel chakra allows you to transform inertia into movement and action.
Located above the navel or slightly below the solar plexus, this chakra relates to the element of fire and is usually described symbolically as a bright glowing Sun.
The Sanskrit word ”Manipura” translates as “lustrous gem” or “City of Jewels”.
A symbol of the Solar Plexus chakra is the ten-petalled Lotus blossom. These petals represent the 10 Pranas (energy) that are regulated by this chakra.
These petals also correspond to the vrittis of jealousy, spiritual ignorance, thirst, treachery, fear, shame, disgust, foolishness, delusion, and sadness.
Malachite, citrine, jasper, tiger’s eye, golden beryl, yellow tourmaline, rhodochrosite, yellow topaz, and golden yellow labradorite stones are all great gems to improve your sense of personal power and open this chakra.
In the endocrine system, this chakra is said to be linked with the pancreas, the outer adrenal glands, and the adrenal cortex.
Healing and balancing the navel chakra
If your 3rd chakra is out of balance, you can have difficulty making decisions, suffer from low self-esteem, and may have anger or control issues.
You may have diseases associated with the upper bowel (diverticulosis, Crohn’s disease, malabsorption), the stomach (eating disorders), gall bladder, kidneys, liver, pancreas (diabetes), and adrenal glands.
Stress is said to have a tremendous impact on the third chakra, and this can be felt like a tightening of the solar plexus area, particularly if the ego-personality feels a loss of control, as control and power are the central issues of the navel chakra.
A strong navel chakra reflects the capacity to move forward in life with power and confidence. You will have a sense of who you are and why you are here.
Also, it reflects the ability to make conscious choices and to act.
Furthermore, when the energy of Manipura chakra flows freely, the effect is like that of a power station, non-stop supplying vitality and strength.
In his book – Kundalini Tantra, Swami Satyananda Saraswati said that kundalini awakening in this chakra enables a yogi to have control over the inner level of consciousness.

The seed mantra is the syllable RAM. The note “E” is what the Manipura chakra resonates with. Therefore, chanting this seed chakra mantra helps activate the navel chakra.
In addition, practicing the third chakra mantra meditation endows you with the power to lead with authority and to command, manage, and organize successfully. It is also essential to leading a long, healthy, and productive life. Additionally, the mantra increases your magnetism.
Note
Since this chakra governs both metabolism and digestion, you can easily awaken both with breathing exercises.
