Translation in English:
„Only Rama’s name is beneficial, thought of Swami is itself enough
Only Svami’s name is beneficial, thought of Rama is itself enough
Your thought is itself enough, only Your name is beneficial
Only Rama’s name is beneficial, thought of Rama is itself enough.”
This bhajan has been composed by Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, an Indian guru and philanthropist.
He claimed to be the reincarnation of Sai Baba of Shirdi.
Sathya Sai Baba was born as Sathyanarayana Raju as the 8th child in a poor family in the village of Puttaparthi, Andhra pradesh, India on the 23rd of November 1926.
His early life was one that was filled with miracles and experiences galore. As a child, he was described as charitable and „unusually intelligent”, though not necessarily academically inclined, as his interests were of a more spiritual nature.
Sai Baba says that the summation of all the scriptures is contained in the phrases – „Help ever, Hurt never” and „Love All, Serve All”. And so, Sai Baba exhorts one and all to serve for service to man is service to God.
The Sathya Sai Organisation, founded by Sathya Sai Baba „to enable its members to undertake service activities as a means to spiritual advancement”, has over 1,200 Sathya Sai Centers in 126 countries.
Through this organization, Sai Baba established a network of free clinics, hospitals, drinking water projects, ashrams, auditoriums, and schools.
In the 86 years on earth, what spiritual master Sai Baba has achieved is monumental, to say the least, Divine to say the Truth.
On 29 March 2011, He was listed on the Watkins 100 Spiritual Power list.
„There is only one religion, the religion of Love;
There is only one language, the language of the Heart;
There is only one caste, the caste of Humanity;
There is only one law, the law of Karma;
There is only one God, He is Omnipresent.” – Sri Sathya Sai Baba
