Introverted vs Extroverted – comparison:
Introverted
Introversion is a personality trait in which a person is neither enthusiastic nor assertive in highly stimulative social situations.
Introverts tend to be reserved and reflective, sometimes forgetting to check in with the outside world, and they feel energized when they’re with people they are comfortable with or alone, according to the definition coined by Carl Jung.
By definition, introverts are:
“…(someone) who is considered more thoughtful than social, with a personality more inwardly than outwardly directed.”

#4 You Dislike Small Talk
You probably avoid chit-chat whenever possible. Not only does it seems phony and insincere, but it also makes you anxious.
#5 You Often Feel Alone In A Crowd
Ever feel like an outsider in the middle of social gatherings and group activities, even with people you know?
If you tend to find yourself feeling alone in a crowd, you might be an introvert. Additionally, introverts might let activities or friends pick them, rather than extending their own invitations.
#6 You Are Observant
You watch what others do and you notice things. You take in the information around rather than expressing or talking.
Moreover, you notice details. You notice things that other people miss.
#7 You Enjoy Having Time To Yourself
When you have the chance to take a break, you’d rather spend time listening to music, playing video games, or reading.
That quiet time is essential to your sense of well-being even though there are plenty of times when you enjoy social get-togethers.
Extroverted
Extroversion is one of the 5 core traits believed to make up human personality. Extroversion is characterized by talkativeness, sociability, excitability, and assertiveness.
It was first proposed by psychiatrist Carl Jung in the 1920s.

Signs
#1 You Are Very Open and Easy to Get to Know
Extroverts are usually very open and willing to share their feelings and thoughts. Because of this, other people often find that extroverts are easier to get to know.
#2 Crowds And Audiences Don’t Faze You
Since extroverts are all about meeting and greeting people, standing in front of a huge crowd to deliver a speech doesn’t scare them as much.
In addition, at office meetings, they aren’t shy or reserved about giving their opinions. Actually, they find it all easy.
#3 Social Media Is Your Best Friend
You tend to be in touch with your friends at all times. You prefer to talk out what you feel.
Furthermore, extroverts enjoy sharing their life on social media apart from using the internet to stay in touch with other people, to stay connected, and even to make new friends.
#4 You Feel Bored Being Alone
If you easily get bored when you’re alone, you are most likely not an introvert. Also, if too much time passes without communicating with or interacting with others, you tend to feel bored, listless, or to lose interest in whatever you’re doing while you are alone.

#5 You Like To Plan Events In Advance
As much as you enjoy getting out and about with other people, you also feel the need to plan such gatherings in advance.
#6 You Love to Talk
Unlike introverts who tend to think before they speak, extroverts tend to speak as a way to explore and organize their ideas and thoughts.
You don’t just enjoy talking to co-workers, family members, and friends; you love to strike up conversations with total strangers. In addition, you love to meet new people and learn about their lives.
#7 You’re A Leader
People who are extroverts are big “doers” and usually tend to see the big picture, so they often just jump right in. Therefore, extroverts have a natural tendency to step into leadership roles and to get things done.
Also, extroverts are the ones who step up to lead a group project.

Bottom Line – Introverted vs Extroverted
In conclusion, extroverts are the opposite of introverts. For instance, extroverts are likely to take risks and make impulsive decisions – increasing the likelihood of error, whereas introverts may be preoccupied with avoiding injury or accident.
Also, extroverts are often described as the life of a party. They seek out conversations and interaction. They aren’t one to miss a social gathering, and they thrive in the frenzy of a busy environment.
An introvert is often thought of as a reserved, quiet, and thoughtful individual. They don’t seek out special attention or social engagements, as these events can leave them feeling drained and exhausted.
When introverts do engage with others, they prefer in-depth conversations instead of the light and easy interactions by which extroverts are amused.
Another difference between the two personality traits is that extroverts are more interested in what is happening around them, while introverts are more interested in their own feelings and thoughts.
Many extroverts are friends with introverts since this provides balance for both types of people. Occasionally, extroverts need to recognize the benefits of a quiet night in, and introverts need to be led out of their shells a bit.
Note
Extroverts and introverts are commonly viewed in terms of two extreme opposites, but most people lie somewhere in the middle.
